About 4 Quarters Gym - Your Basketball Training Gym

Our Mission

At 4 Quarters Gym, our mission is straightforward: to promote high intensity basketball through effective basketball training. Every drill, every workout, every game is executed with purpose, effort, and passion. We believe that when athletes engage in high intensity basketball and push themselves to their limits, they discover their true potential—both on and off the court, supported by our strength and conditioning programs.

Our Story

4 Quarters was built out of a love for the game and a desire to transform lives through basketball training. We understand that basketball isn’t just about points and highlights—it’s about discipline, growth, and resilience. Just like the game is played in four quarters, we believe in developing the whole athlete through skill, performance, mindset, and leadership, including high intensity basketball and strength and conditioning programs. Founded in Richmond, TX, and powered by our nonprofit Lead Through Athletics, 4 Quarters is more than a gym. It’s a community hub where athletes of all ages can train, compete, and grow.

🏀 Basketball Training


We provide comprehensive basketball training for all levels, focusing on everything from fundamentals to advanced moves. Our program emphasizes shooting, ball-handling, defense, footwork, and game IQ through high intensity basketball sessions. Choose from private, small group, and team training options to fit your needs.


💪 Strength & Conditioning


Our age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs are designed to build power and confidence. We focus on speed, agility, and vertical jump training, all while ensuring recovery and injury-prevention strategies to keep athletes healthy and performing at their best.


🎓 Mentorship & Leadership


Beyond the game, we offer life skills training that prepares athletes for success in all areas. Our study hall and tutoring support prioritize academics, ensuring that student-athletes excel in their studies. We foster character development through discipline, teamwork, and accountability.


🏆 Leagues & Competition


Join our seasonal leagues, including Fall Ball, 3v3, 4v4, and Open Runs. We host camps and tournaments that challenge every athlete to bring out their best. Additionally, we celebrate achievements with Player of the Game recognitions, All-Star events, and exposure opportunities.


🌎 Community & Family


At 4 Quarters Gym, we create a family-first atmosphere with a dedicated parents’ lounge. We also offer scholarships and nonprofit programs through Lead Through Athletics, promoting a culture of “No Excuses” where every member belongs and can thrive.
